Colonia del Valle

Colonia del Valle is one of the largest and most prestigious residential districts (Spanish: colonias ) in Mexico City, it is part of the municipality ( Delegación ) Benito Juárez. The district is located in the southwest of the city center along Avenida Insurgentes. The Colonial del Valle is bounded by the east of the road train Avenida Universidad / Avenida Cuauhtémoc, in the north of the city highway Viaducto Miguel Alemán in the north, Avenida Cuauhtémoc and Avenida Universidad in the east, and the south by the Circuito Interior on the Río Mixcoac.

History

Attractions

Among the attractions of the city include the Templo del Corazón de María Inmaculado, the Parque Hundido, the Parque Mariscal Sucre and the shopping center Galerias Insurgentes. Worth a visit are the Templo de San Lorenzo and Tlacoquemécatl Xochimanca. In the vicinity are the World Trade Center Mexico and Polyforum Cultural Siqueiros.
