Colonisation (biology)

The settlement is a process of more or less systematic, site-specific settling down of humans or other living beings for the purpose of housing or permanent stay in the sense of setting the food item. In contrast to the settlement, the settlement referred especially the further increase in the population density of the previous settlement.

In contrast, refers to the planned resettlement and location-based partial or complete abandonment of settlements, for example, in planned mining areas or maneuver grounds - the process is, however, unexpectedly, one speaks of Wüst traps.

In microbiology, all of the microorganisms under a settlement called who live as resident flora (or colonization flora, resident bacteria or commensal ) on the inner and outer body surface of humans and other living things, usually without causing infection and disease.
