Aalesunds FK

The Color Line Stadion is a football stadium in Ålesund, Norway. It was opened in April 2005 and the construction costs amounted to 160 million Norwegian crowns (about 20 million euros ).

The Color Line Stadion is the first premiership football stadium in Norway with an artificial turf. Main users of the stadium is the team of Aalesunds FK. Since 2009, the women's football team Fortuna Ålesund carrying out their home games in the arena.

  • Record number of visitors: 10,903 ( against Hamarkameratene, 2005)
  • The first game: Aalesunds FK played against Odd Grenland. Aalesunds won the game 2-1
  • Outside the stadium, there is a statue named " The Soccer Player " in the image of John Arne Riise.
