Colorado Mesa University

The Mesa State College is a public university in Grand Junction in the west of the U.S. state of Colorado. At the university about 6062 students are enrolled. It is a so-called liberal arts college.

History

The college was founded in 1925 as Grand Junction State Junior College and renamed in 1937 in Mesa College.

Sports

The sports teams of the Mesa State College are the Mavericks. The university is a member of the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference.
