ColorSync

ColorSync referred to the color management system from Apple, which operates at the operating system level.

ColorSync uses ICC profiles, which are used by a Color Management Module ( CMM) for color conversions. The SystemCMM ColorSync 2.0, the " LinoColorCMM ", was developed by Linotype Hell AG and partly by Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG. Also, the Windows Color Management System ICM (Windows 98, Windows 2000) used since Windows 98 as SystemCMM a CMM of Heidelberg, the " HeidelbergCMM ".
