Colum McCann

Colum McCann ( born February 28, 1965 in Dublin) is an Irish writer, journalist and screenwriter.

Life

McCann studied journalism at Dublin Institute of Technology, for a time worked as a reporter before he went to the USA, worked there in various professions, in 1992 married and moved for one and a half years after Japan. In 1994 he published his first short story collection, which was very successful immediately. Since 1996 he lives with his wife and three children in New York.
