Columbia Games

Columbia Games Inc. ( briefly also CGI) is an American manufacturer of board games. He specializes in strategic games. The company was founded in 1972 under the name Gamma Two Games in Vancouver, Canada by Tom Dalgliesh, Lance Gutteridge and Steve Brewster. In 1982, the company was renamed Columbia Games and its headquarters were transferred to Blaine, Washington.

The most successful game to date by Columbia Games is Hammer of the Scots by Jerry Taylor, which the first prize at the International Gamers Award in 2003.

Since 1983 Columbia Games released the pen & paper role-playing game HârnMaster and the associated role-playing game World HârnWorld the author N. Robin Crossby.
