Columbine is a census -designated place in the U.S. state of Colorado, which lies partly in Arapahoe County, but for the most part in Jefferson County.
In 2010, Columbine had 24,280 inhabitants. The Columbine High School, which was the site of what became known as the Columbine High School massacre shootout on April 20, 1999, is located within the boundaries of CDPs Columbine.
