Comano TI

Comano is a municipality in the district of Vezia, in the district of Lugano in the canton of Ticino in Switzerland.

History

In 1159 the village is mentioned in writing for the first time as Cumano. The church of Santa Maria of the Purification was ordained in 1359. In 1976, the studios of the Italian-speaking Switzerland (TSI ) television were transferred to Comano.
