The Combai is not an FCI recognized breed from India.

Origin and Description

The Combai, Indian Bear Dog is native to South India and has also been used to hunt wild boar, water buffalo and deer on since the ninth century. He, it resembles the Rajapalayam but is smaller and thus acts heavier and sturdier. His coat is short, reddish in color, with black dorsal stripe. The wind dog elongated head has droopy ears and a black mask.

This agile, lively dog finds in addition to its use as a hunting dog and its place as a guard dog, where he provides his job better than the Rajapalayam.
