Cominotto ( paints Kemmunett ) is an uninhabited island rocks of the Republic of Malta. Its area is only 0.25 km ². He is the island of Comino in front of the west coast at a distance of about 100 m.

The Mediterranean Sea is very shallow between these two islands and has a fine sandy soil. When the sun shines, the water stained by bright blue to turquoise. The Maltese call this shoal due to the intense coloring the Blue Lagoon. Especially in the summer months this is a popular destination for many tourists and Maltese, which is why the beaches that are located on the island of Comino, are crowded quickly.
