Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances

Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances is a browser-based Massive Multiplayer Online Game ( MMOG) of the German EA Phenomic Studios, the official May 24, 2012 into operation. It builds on the Tiberium Universe of the Command & Conquer saga, but there is no plot, only the units are based on the original series name and in appearance.

Gameplay

In the game there comes an increasing number of bases using resource ( Tiberium crystal, Credits, current) build. These resources can win the player by attacking the bases of the forgotten and destroyed or even resource fields in its base "harvest ". The resources are used to build an army. With this, the player can attack other players or the bases of the Forgotten. While the bases of the forgotten forever disappear from the world, other players can always build their base again in another place new, loses only this resource.

The aim of the game is the control of the center, in a huge base of the forgotten is that it is destroying. Since the structure of the army, however, is connected by a level-up system with exponentially increasing costs for the Army, it takes months until the players reach the center. However, this is then initially reserved only for those players who are in a very active alliance system (Alliance) have occurred. For this alliance may conquer certain points and thus gain additional resources and also combat bonus points. In July 2013 EA closed the 2006 selling German developer Phenomic Studio and dismissed 60 employees. The game will continue but managed by a company in Sweden.

Criticism

From a part of the community is the increasing commercialization of " Command & Conquer: Tiberium Alliances " criticized.
