Common Lisp Interface Manager

The Common Lisp Interface Manager CLIM or short is built on top Common Lisp programming interface for creating graphical user interfaces. It enables input, output, and window management.

CLIM describes the user interface at a very abstract level. This allows CLIM applications are easily ported to different systems. The programmer from the actual Toolkit uses the respective CLIM implementation, not in contact. Currently, there are, among other implementations for Motif and GTK .

Functionality

Are supported, for example, so-called context-sensitive input and presentations, which are graphical representations of CLOS objects.

There is a free implementation under the name mcclim.
