Compact Space is an internationally staffed synth - rock and electro band from the environment of Depeche Mode.

History

Foundation

Compact Space was founded by Christian Eigner, Daryl Bamonte and Florian Kraemmer. Christian Eigner has been playing drums for Depeche Mode and has written several songs with Dave Gahan, both for Depeche Mode as well as for Gahan's last solo album, which he also co-produced. In his capacity as a musician owner has worked on more than 100 albums by various artists. Daryl Bamonte began working for Depeche Mode at the beginning of her career in 1980 and took on different roles before he worked for The Cure from 1995 for several years. Florian Kraemmer is the son of an actress and an opera singer, now a successful composer of music for television productions, which began at the age of eight years with a classical piano training, which laid the foundation for his musical career. Owner asked Bamonte to lyrics for his songs and completed the trio to his companions Kraemmer. As the song " Push Push " took shape, recognized the three that this was the beginning of a joint project, and they founded Compact Space.

The beginning

The first album Nameless was mixed by Paul "P- Dub" Walton. Danny Drysdale, who filmed the hit " Human", among others, took up the video for the single " Push Push ". On 23 November 2011, the eve of the album release, the band presented the nine songs with an audio-visual show in Hamburg Planetarium. Just a few weeks after the trio started the studio work for the second album, whose release is expected in early 2012.
