Complementary Code Keying

Complementary Code Keying ( CCK) is a modulation method which (W -LAN) is used in accordance with the IEEE 802.11b specification for wireless networks. CCK replaced here the 802.11 used the original standard IEEE Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS).

In contrast to DSSS information are encoded at CCK also in the spreading code, thereby increasing the achievable transmission rate can be significantly increased ( 802.11b at 11 Mbps gross / s).
