Complex Text Layout
As complex text layout is known in computer programs displaying writing systems that do not follow the left- to-right arrangement of the western languages .
There are several types of complex writing systems:
- Right-to- left text ( such as Arabic or Hebrew )
- Bidirectional text (often to-left fonts laws, otherwise living in in any font )
- Vertical font (eg Mongolian script, classic Chinese )
- Diacritical marks by one letter (eg Indian writing circle)
- Context-sensitive presentation (especially Arabic, but also common in other writing systems )
- The East Asian fonts Chinese, Japanese and Korean - regardless of writing direction, but with special text width (corresponding font style and Dickte other writings ) - are separately summarized as CJD.
Layout tables are mostly defined in the scriptures with OpenType or a comparable technology, and then evaluated by the application and processed.
