Component Library for Cross Platform

The Component Library for Cross Platform Development (short CLX ) is how the VCL also a component library.

The CLX is available for the Delphi development environment (for Windows) and Kylix (for Linux) from Embarcadero Technologies (formerly Borland ).

With these cross-platform component applications can be created, which can be compiled for the specific operating system with both Kylix and Delphi, and are independently executable. Thus can be generated from the same source code for both a native Linux/X11- as well as Windows application.
