As scientific computing ( eng. scientific computing or computational science ) is defined as an interdisciplinary research discipline that is between the numerical mathematics, computer science and the scientific direction from which comes to be viewed model, level.

Motivation

Classic- based research in many natural and engineering sciences on two pillars, the theory and the experiment. In scientific computing the numerical simulation occurs in addition to these two columns. The goal of scientific computing is to reduce the number of expensive experiments or to replace it completely, because the scientific computing on computer experiments can be performed that would otherwise be impossible or uneconomical.
