Conad

Conad ( Consorzio Nazionale Dettaglianti ) is an Italian cooperative association of retailers.

The Association unites 2828 connected outlets with a total of 35,200 employees throughout Italy and Albania and Malta. These are combined in eight regional Conad cooperatives and occur under the brands Conad and Margherita. The headquarters of Conad is located in Bologna. 2007 Conad achieved a turnover of 8.2 billion euros.

The cooperative association is composed of three areas. For the first from the owners of the individual transactions, the second of the original eight overarching regional cooperation groups and the national consortium itself, which performs all central services of Conad group. In Albania

Conad occurred in Albania in 2007 for the first time. At that time, the first store was opened in the capital Tirana.
