CONCACAF Women's U-20 Championship

The CONCACAF U -20 Women's Championship (English CONCACAF Under -20 Women's Championship ) is a football competition between the best teams in North and Central America and the Caribbean for football players under 20. The tournament takes place every two years and is also used to qualify for the U-20 World Cup of women.

In 2002, already played a similar tournament in Trinidad and Tobago, which only served, however, to determine the North American participants in the U-19 World Cup 2002 Women. A tournament winner has not been determined. The two group winners qualify alongside hosts Canada for the World Cup 2002. Besides this tournament the first playout of the CONCACAF U -20 Women's Championship 2004 was still held as a U-19 competition. Currently, each of the top three teams qualify for the U -20 World Cup.
