CONCACAF

The CONCACAF ( Confederation of North and Central American and Caribbean Association Football, German North and Central American and Caribbean Football Confederation ) is one of the continental confederations of world football governing body FIFA. The association was founded in 1961 with the merger of CCCF and NAFC, and is based in Miami, USA. Its members are all independent countries of North America and the Caribbean. In football should also include the South American continent countries Suriname and Guyana to the Caribbean, as well as the French department of French Guiana. In addition, some European territories mother states or the USA are independent members and as such take part in the competitions CONCACAF and FIFA in part.

Examples include Montserrat ( British), Guadeloupe (French ) Puerto Rico ( U.S. American) and Aruba ( Dutch).

The association found in the CONCACAF Gold Cup the continental champions and also organizes club competitions like the CONCACAF Champions League.
