Confederation of Swedish Enterprise

Svenskt Näringsliv (German Swedish economy ) is the Swedish Employers' Confederation and the same interest group of the economy.

Svenskt Näringsliv was formed in 2001 and is an umbrella organization that represents about 55,000 companies in 51 professional and interest groups. Predecessor organizations were the employers' association founded in 1902 SAF (Svenska Arbetsgivareföreningen ) and the interest group founded in 1912, the industry Sveriges Industriförbund.

The aim of Svenskt Näringsliv is the perception and promotion of the general, ideals and economic interests of its members by providing information, opinion formation and development projects. Major areas of work include employers' and labor market issues, tax issues, EU and international trade, and energy and environmental issues.

As an employer representatives in the context of social partnership negotiations but only the member organizations are active, not the governing body.

The highest decision-making body is the General Assembly, whose members are appointed by the different member organizations. The Board currently consists of 61 members, of whom 12 members and the chairman are elected by the General Assembly, while the others are sent by the member organizations. The Board in turn elects the Director General and the Working Committee.
