Conflans-en-Jarnisy

Conflans -en- Jarnisy is a commune with 2400 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2011 ) in the department of Meurthe -et -Moselle in the Lorraine region. It belongs to the district of the canton of Briey and Conflans -en- Jarnisy whose capital it is. The inhabitants are called Conflanais.

Geography

The community in the north of Lorraine is located 20 kilometers west of Metz off the Autoroute A4 in the neighborhood community Jarny.

To Gallo-Roman times, there were settlements here. The existence of a castle was occupied in 1093 and their destruction 1636th
