Connie Booth

Connie Booth ( born December 2, 1944 in Indianapolis, full name Constance Booth) is an American screenwriter and actress.

Life

The actress Connie Booth married on February 20, 1968 English comedian John Cleese. It was during her ten- year marriage with Cleese, among others, in the TV movie How to Irritate People, some parts of the series Monty Python's Flying Circus, the movie and the Holy Grail, as well as in the television series Fawlty Towers to see for which they with Cleese also the screenplays wrote.

In German-speaking Booth is but probably in be known primarily as the mother of the little Lords Little Lord Fauntleroy - film adaptation from 1980, which is repeated every year before Christmas of the ARD. 1995 Booth ended her acting career and settled in London as a psychotherapist down.
