Connor James

Connor James ( born August 25, 1982 in Calgary, Alberta ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since 2012 in the Nuremberg Ice Tigers of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga under contract.

Career

Connor James began his career as a hockey player in his hometown at the Calgary Royals, for which he was active in the 1999/2000 season in the Alberta Junior Hockey League. He then played four years for the team from the University of Denver. During this period, he was selected in the NHL Entry Draft in the ninth round in 2002 when a total of 279 players from the Los Angeles Kings. First, the attacker ran in the 2004/05 season for their farm team, the Bakersfield Condors of the ECHL and the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League at the first time in professional hockey, before the following season his debut for the LA Kings in the National Hockey League, announced where he remained point and impunity in two games in his rookie year.

The fast skater was able to establish itself in the second attack formation of DEG and plays there with his Augsburg teammate Tyler Beechey and Evan Kaufmann. His personal plus / minus balance he increased from 6 to 16.

For the season 2012/13 season, James moved to the Nuremberg Ice Tigers, where he extended his contract on December 3, 2013 by a further two years.
