Conor Maynard
Conor Maynard ( born November 21, 1992, Brighton ) is a British pop singer.
Career
Maynard reported in May 2006, the video platform YouTube and invited an interpretation of the title Breathe by Lee Carr high. In the following years was followed by other cover versions, which he recorded in part with his friend, the rapper Anthony Melo, including Crawl by Chris Brown, Dynamite by Taio Cruz, Jessie J Price Tag of ET and Katy Perry.
In November 2011, he was nominated for the Young Investigator Award Brand New for 2012 by MTV next to Delilah, Michael Kiwanuka, Lana Del Rey Lianne La Havas and he could win with about 45 % of the audience votes. He received the end of 2011 a record deal with the label Parlophone and began work on his debut album. His first single Can not Say No was released on April 15, 2012, and debuted at # 2 on the British charts. The song was then published in other European countries and in Australia and was also there place in the charts.
Prior to the album release appeared Maynard's second single Vegas Girl, who made it to number 4 in the UK and reached number 63 as its predecessor in Germany. End of July, then came out the album Contrast and conquered went straight to number 1 in the UK charts.
The third single, Turn Around Ne- Yo was published on 8 October 2012. She could already place in the UK at number 8 on the charts. The music video was released on September 10.
The next single from the album Animal was presented, was involved in the Wiley. She appeared on 21 January 2013. The accompanying video was released by December 10, 2012.
