Consalvo Sanesi

Consalvo Sanesi ( born March 28, 1911 in Arezzo, † July 28, 1998 in Milan ) was an Italian Formula 1 racing driver.

Consalvo Sanesi remained connected as racers time in his career with Alfa Romeo. His success began after the Second World War: He was third in the Italian Grand Prix in 1947 and second in the Grand Prix of France 1948.

During the 1950 and 1951 Formula 1 season Sanesi drove a total of five Grands Prix for this team, although he was overshadowed by his teammate Farina, Fangio and Fagioli. At the Grand Prix of Switzerland in Bremgarten he came in 1951 with a fourth place the only time in the points.

Until the mid-1960s, he still competed in sports car racing.
