Consejo Superior de los Colegios de Arquitectos de España

The Consejo Superior de los Colegio de Arquitectos de España ( CSCAE ), the High Council of Architects of Spain, is the most established and professional association of architects in Spain.

The basis for the CSCAE was created by the College of Architects in 1929. Due to a provisional government decision June 13, 1931 the legal foundation in the same year with the ratification took place on November 4 by the Spanish Verfassungshof ( Cortes Constituyentes ). The seat of the CSCAE is in the Paseo de la Castellana in Madrid, President Carlos Hernández Pezzi is currently.

Originally belonged to the CSCAE, which now belong to more than 30 regional colleges, only six colleges to:

  • Quorum of the provinces of A Coruña, Lugo, Ourense, Pontevedra, Oviedo, León, Zamora, Salamanca and Palencia, located in the city of León
  • Quorum of the provinces of Álava, Vizcaya, Guipúzcoa and Navarra, based in Bilbao
  • Quorum of the provinces of Lleida, Girona, Barcelona, Tarragona, Huesca, Zaragoza, Teruel, Logroño and Baleares based in the city of Lleida
  • Quorum of the provinces of Santander, Burgos, Soria, Segovia, Avila, Madrid, Toledo, Ciudad Real, Cuenca, Guadalajara, Cáceres, Badajoz and Valladolid with headquarters in the capital Madrid
  • Quorum of the provinces of Castellón, Valencia, Alicante, Albacete and Murcia with its headquarters in the city of Valencia
  • Quorum of the provinces of Huelva, Seville, Cordoba; Jaén, Granada, Almería; Málaga, Cádiz, Marruecos and Canarias located in the city of Seville
