Constance Wilson-Samuel

Constance Wilson - Samuel ( born January 8, 1908 in Toronto, † February 28, 1953 ) was a Canadian figure skater who started in a single run and pair skating.

After Constance Wilson was 1926 already become Canadian champion in pair skating with Errol Morson, she succeeded in this with her brother Montgomery Wilson in the years 1929, 1930 and 1932 to 1934 five more times. Both took part in the World Championships in 1930 and 1932 and finished it on the fourth, or sixth place. At the Olympic Games in 1932 the siblings were fifth.

In a single run Wilson 1924, 1927 and 1929 to 1935 Canadian champion and holds with these nine tracks the record for the most titles in the women's competition at the Canadian championships. She participated in three World Cups. 1928 and 1930, she finished fourth and 1932 in the domestic Montréal she won the bronze medal behind Sonja Henie and Fritzi Burger. At the 1928 Olympics in St. Moritz they finished sixth and 1932 Lake Placid fourth place. 1936 in Garmisch -Partenkirchen, they had to withdraw.
