Constantin Ion Parhon

Constantin Ion Parhon (* October 15, 1874 in Câmpulung; † August 9, 1969 in Bucharest ) was a Romanian physician, researcher and politician.

Life

Constantin I. Parhon was from 1917 to 1930 head of the hospital Socola in Iasi. In 1918 he founded in the village of the Research Society of Neurology, Psychiatry and Psychology. 1921 was followed by the extension of the Research Society for the field of endocrinology. 1939 Parhon was a member of the Romanian Academy of Science. From 1947 to 1952 he was the first chairman of the Grand National Assembly (Romanian: Marea Adunare Naţională a RPR).
