Constantin Lupulescu
Constantin Lupulescu ( born March 25, 1984 in Buftea ) is a Romanian chess player. Since April 2006 he has the title Grandmaster.
Life
In 1998 he received the bronze medal in 2000 at the European Championships U16 in Chalkidiki the silver medal at the European Youth Championships U14 in Mureck. In 2002, he was in Hungary with the Romanian U18 national team European Champion and also received for his performance of 5 of 7 on first board a gold medal. 2002 in Sovata and again in 2003 in Voineasa he was Romanian U20 Champion. In October 2002, he won the Blue Autumn tournament in Bucharest, in August 2003 the Coop Centro Trophy Eforie Nord. The Blue Autumn tournament he won again in October 2003. In December 2003, he was tied for first in the tournament Revolution in December 1989 in Bucharest. In June 2004, he was tied for first at the Sea Coast Trophy in Eforie Nord, in July 2004, tied for first in Corinth. The Winter Cup in Bucharest in January 2006, he won by a large margin. When Pius Brinzau Memorial in Timişoara in March 2006, he was tied for first. In May 2006 he won the May Roses Cup in Bucharest. In 2007 he won the Romanian Individual Championship for the first time. In December 2007, he won the December 1989 Revolution Memorial in Bucharest. The Romanian Single championship he won for the second time in 2010 in Băile Olăneşti, for the third time in 2011 in Sărata - Monteoru and for the fourth time in 2012 ( held in February 2013 in Băile Olăneşti ).
With the Romanian national team, he participated in the Chess Olympiads 2004, 2008 and 2012, in part as well as at the European Team Championship in 2005, 2007, 2009, 2011 and 2013. Club chess he plays in the Romanian ( Aem for the CS Luxten Timişoara), Germany (since 2008 for the SG Trier), Hungarian ( for Aquaprofit Nagykanizsai Tungsram Sakk club ), Bulgarian, Greek ( for Panionios GSS), French (from 2008 Belfort Échecs ) and Turkish 1st and 2nd and the Serbian 1st and 2nd league. With Aquaprofit he was in the seasons 2006/ 07, 2008/ 09, 2009/10, 2010/11, 2011/12 and 2012/13 Hungarian, with 2007 Timişoara Romanian team champion.
