Constantin Marin

Marin Constantin ( born February 27, 1925 in Urleta, Prahova county, † 1 January 2011) was a Romanian composer and conductor.

Marin Constantin graduated 1949, the Academy of Music in Bucharest. In parallel, he studied pedagogy and psychology at the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Bucharest. Between 1966 and 1969, Constantine was the general director of Opera Naţională Bucureşti. He was the founder of the Madrigal Choir.

His son is the conductor Ion Marin.
