Constantin von Liechtenstein

Constantin Franz Nikolaus Karl Heinrich Dagobert Anthony of Padua Ildefonso Maria of Liechtenstein ( born December 23, 1911 in Vienna, † March 28, 2001 in Grabs, Canton of St. Gallen, Switzerland ) was a member of the princely family of Liechtenstein and took in 1948 to the V. Winter Olympics in St. Moritz in part.

At the Olympic Winter Games in St. Moritz, he represented the Principality as a ski racer and finished second in the downhill event with a time of 5:04,01 minutes to 99th place.

Family

Constantin of Liechtenstein was married twice in total. First, with Maria Elisabeth von Leutzendorff (1921-1944), whom he had married in 1941 in Vienna. The marriage produced a daughter went bold (* 1942). 1944 his wife died as a result of an air raid on Vienna.

In 1977 he married his second wife Ilona in Vaduz Mária Antonia Erzsébet Gabrielle Catherine Karolina Countess Esterházy of Galántha (* 1921). The marriage remained childless.
