Constantine III of Scotland

Constantine III. ( Causantín mac Cuilén; † 997) was King of Scottish 995 until his death. He was the son of King Culen, nephew of the third degree of his predecessor, Kenneth II, and fourth-degree cousin of his successor Kenneth III.

Because of his short reign, very little is known about Constantine's life. It is believed that he married, but the exact circumstances of the marriage is not known; However, Constantine seems to have remained childless. Constantine was the fifth consecutive Scottish king who was murdered.
