Constantine-Silvanus

Constantine of Mananalis († 684 ), also called Silvanus, is considered the first apostle and founder of the Paulicians.

Konstantin was born in Mananalis in Syria near the ancient city today known Samosata. He founded around 655, the first Paulicians community in Kibossa, near Colonia in Armenia and was its leader until his martyrdom by stoning.
