Constituencies of Namibia

Namibia consists of 14 regions in which there are a total of 121 constituencies (up to August 8, 2013 13 regions and 107 constituencies ).

These are for general registration of voters and the regional elections of importance. In the context of election to the National Assembly and the presidential election, any registered voter cast his votes in each constituency and must not do in the home constituency of this.

The constituencies are divided by size and population. Changes in these constituencies - and regions - can only be the Delimitation Commission of Namibia make. The population refers to the last census from 2001 Namibia Population and Housing Census. In each constituency, a representative for the Regional (regional council) is chosen.
