Consultative Assembly of Saudi Arabia

The Consultative Assembly of Saudi Arabia (Arabic مجلس الشورى السعودي ), also known as the Majlis al - Shura is, formally, the advisory body of Saudi Arabia, which is an absolute monarchy.

Power

History

King Fahd decreed on 24 November 2000, the new Majlis - ash- Shura Act, which replaced the previous Law of 1928 and had the Statute of the Council and their supplements on 22 August 1993.
