Consumables

Consumables is a term used in the procurement and logistics in craft and service sectors. From an accounting point they are managed as business expenses.

Type

Underneath material is understood, which is essential for the complete functionality of a device or addressing service tasks. In companies this should, as the stock of the device-specific replacement parts are part of the spare parts logistics, which in turn is a sub-discipline of procurement logistics.

Examples

Examples are toner and staples in a copying machine or thermal paper in a fax machine.
