Content Vectoring Protocol

The Content Vectoring Protocol ( CVP ) is a protocol for firewalls, which allows them to have it checked defined contents by an external program that needs to classify the content as harmless, before the firewall allows this to happen. The test must be carried out here not necessarily on the same system on which the firewall operates.

The most common use for CVP is the examination on computer viruses.
