The Grand Orient of Luxembourg is an association of liberal Masonic lodges. This was assembled by the men's gallery L' Espérance, which in 1959 the Grand Loge de Luxembourg left, and founded by the men lodges Liberté and Tolérance. This obedience took first also exclusively on men.

In 1991, the mixed box light and truth in Bonn was taken. 1998, the date Heidelberg Lodge Carpe Diem was recorded for men and women. 2000 Start of the men's gallery Montaigne in the Orient Liege ( Belgium). In 2002, the men's gallery Montaigne turns into a box, which receives both men and women. Immediately, the first women were inaugurated.
