Contra-Kreis-Theater

The Contra Circle Theatre is the oldest private theater in Bonn. It was opened on 20 May 1950 with the play Hamlet, had 1966 soft at his former location to the new town house and has since been his place next to the university. They will play Boulevard mostly comedies and musicals.

Owes its name to the theater of the circular stage, it has 258 seats and has made numerous premieres and first a national name. Television programs contributed to the reputation of the theater. The theater is led by Katinka Hoffman and Horst Johanning, Vice- President of the German Theatre Association and chairman of the private theater group here.

The theater pursues exclusively charitable purposes and will especially promote direct contact between spectators and performers.
