Conway Hall Ethical Society

The South Place Ethical Society is the oldest existing freethinkers organization in the world and only remaining Ethical Society in the UK. The firm currently has one for secular humanism.

History

The history of the South Place Ethical Society goes back to the year 1793. First, religiously influenced the Society turned under Moncure Conway from the Unitarianism. Under Stanton Coit the name of South Place Religious Society was changed to South Place Ethical Society. Today it belongs to the International Humanist and Ethical Union.
