Cooper Tire & Rubber Company

Cooper Tire & Rubber Company is an American manufacturer of passenger cars, motorcycles, vans and racing tires. The brand is known especially for their 4x4 tires.

The company was founded in 1926 in Findlay, Ohio, and bears the name of one of its founders, Ira J. Cooper. Today, the company counts 12,898 employees.

In 1997, the tire manufacturer Avon Tyres has been adopted.

2003, the tire manufacturer Mickey Thompson in Stow (Ohio ) was taken.
