Copa de Competencia (Uruguay)

The Copa Competencia was an Uruguayan football club competition.

She was discharged from the Asociación Uruguaya de Fútbol (AUF) 1900-1923. The winner earned the right to start at the Copa Competencia Chevallier - Boutell (Tie as Copa Competencia Rioplatense or Cup Competition known) and played there against the winner of the Argentine counterpart of the Uruguayan Copa Competencia, the Copa de Competencia Jockey Club. Record winner is Nacional acquired with eight titles, followed by Peñarol precursor CURCC Club, who won the tournament seven times. The Montevideo Wanderers decided the Copa five times in their favor. The once conquered Albion and Peñarol. After the Copa Competencia Chevallier - Boutell no longer took place in 1920, the tournament was held in 1921 and 1923 regardless. The winner was in these two occasions each Nacional.
