Copa de la Liga
The Copa de la Liga (English: League Cup) was a Spanish football competition for club teams, which was carried out between 1983 and 1986. Participation is open to teams from the Primera División, and from 1984 a total of four qualifiers from the Segunda División, Segunda División B and Tercera División were. The title was held in the play-off mode with return game. The away goals rule was not applicable. The winner of the Copa de la Liga was a place in the UEFA Cup.
In 1986, the club agreed to because of the crowded calendar abolish the competition again.
