Cora Stephan
Cora Stephan ( born April 7, 1951 in train at Bad Rothenfelde ) is a German journalist. 1998 her first crime novel was published under the pseudonym Anne Chaplet, 2010, the first book as Sophie winter.
Life
Stephan grew up in Osnabrück. She studied in Hamburg and Frankfurt with a final teacher state exam in 1973. After further studies in political science, economics and history, the doctorate in 1976 on the theme of " The history of German social democracy in the 19th century."
Between 1976 and 1984 she took a teaching position at the Johann -Wolfgang- Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. She also worked as an editor, including for the Suhrkamp -Verlag, translator and radio presenter. In 1980, she was an editor at the beach paving, in 1983 as a cultural editor at Hessischer Rundfunk and 1985-1987 correspondent in Bonn office of the mirror. Since 1987 she works as a freelance author, essayist and as a lecturer. She has published, among others, in FAZ, NZZ, SZ, FR, World, Focus, Spiegel and time. Since 2011 she is the author in the "world". Cora Stephan is also one of the authors of the Blogs The Axis of Good. There are also numerous radio shows, including in Germany and NDR Radio.
Stephan is a member of the Syndicate, an association of German crime writers.
In 2011 she published the book Angela Merkel. A mistake a "personal statement " with the Chancellor.
Cora Stephan lives in Ilsdorf in the Vogelsberg and in Laurac -en- Vivarais (southern France ).
