Corbinian Böhm

Corbinian Böhm ( born August 7, 1966 in Munich) is a German sculptor.

Life and work

Boehm grew up with five siblings in Munich's Harlaching. One of his brothers is the extreme mountaineer and skier - Benedikt Böhm. He attended in Munich, Maria -Theresia- Gymnasium, Klenze High School and graduated from the High School at Asam -Gymnasium. Subsequently, he studied until 1990 art history at the Ludwig- Maximilians- University of Munich, trained as wood and stone sculptor and studied sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich with Hans Ladner, Pia Stadtbäumer, Antony Gormley, Timm Ulrichs, Asta Gröting and Rita McBride.

Together with Michael Gruber he has worked since 1995 under the name lobby. In 2000 he received his diploma as a master student.
