Corchiano

Corchiano is a municipality in the province of Viterbo in the Italian region Latium, located about 3788 inhabitants ( 31 December 2012). It is located 63 km north of Rome.

Geography

Corchiano lies in the volcanic hills of the southern Tuscia, with its deep valleys, the historic landscape of the Faliscans.

Benghazi Battisti (Green Party) was elected in May 2006 to the mayor. His center-left alliance also with 11 of 16 seats, the majority in the City Council.
