Corcyre

Corcyre ( German: Corfu ) is a former French département in modern Greece with the capital Corfu ( Corfou ).

The department was established on the occasion of the annexation of the Ionian Islands to France in 1797. It ended in 1799, finally 1802.

The other departments of the Ionian Islands were Ithaque and Mer - EGEE.
