The Cordillera Domeyko is a mountain range in northern Chile. It was named after the Polish geologists Ignacy Domeyko and forms the eastern boundary of the flat part of the Atacama desert.

The mountain range is 600 km long and lies parallel to the main chain of the Andes in north-south direction. At altitudes often over 3000 m is the highest mountain of Cerro Quimal with 4278 m. The mountain range is one of the mountain ranges with the lowest rainfall on Earth.

Gold and silver deposits in volcanic rocks make the area one of the potentially most productive mining areas for these ores.
